Bruce Fanjoy was enjoying retirement with his family in his lovely house in Manotick. Then his member of Parliament, Pierre Poilievre, became leader of the Conservative Party of Canada with the support of the people who had occupied Ottawa during the 2022 truckers convoy. Someone had to stand up to him but nobody wanted to. After much consideration, Fanjoy threw his hat into the ring.
